The State of Storage Security Report
In the first of its kind, Continuity has published a new research report that provides an analysis of the vulnerabilities and misconfigurations of enterprise storage systems.
We compiled anonymized inputs from a large number of storage risk assessments, to provide a unique insight into the state of storage security.
Key findings include:
- 6,300 discrete security issues detected
- An enterprise storage device has 15 vulnerabilities
- Out of 15 vulnerabilities, 3 are high or critical risk
- The most common types of vulnerabilities include: use of vulnerable protocols, unaddressed CVEs, access rights issues, insecure user management, and insufficient logging
