Forsythe to Offer RecoverGuard Data Protection, Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Solutions to Customers in the United States and Canada
Boston, MA and Tel Aviv, Israel (September 23, 2008) – Continuity Software™, a leading provider of disaster recovery and high availability monitoring solutions, today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Forsythe, a leading IT infrastructure consultant and integrator. Under terms of the agreement, Forsythe will offer Continuity Software’s RecoverGuard™ software to its customers in the United States and Canada.
“Our customers include many of the most sophisticated data centers in the world. They have implemented the most advanced technologies available to support their DR strategies. However, they recognize that while they conduct meticulous DR tests several times a year, they aren’t fully confident that they would be able to meet their recovery time and point objectives were they to experience an actual disaster. For our customers, anything less than complete confidence in their ability to meet these objectives is simply not acceptable,” said Michael Croy, director of business continuity solutions at Forsythe. “With RecoverGuard, customers can fully ensure that service level requirements are met and exposure to data loss from disaster is minimized.” He added, “Moreover, customers can now rest assured that other IT initiatives, such as data migration, meet with the same success.”
“We recognize that when we have a discussion with a customer about disaster recovery or high availability, what we are really talking about is business stability,” said Gil Hecht, founder and CEO of Continuity Software. “RecoverGuard will provide Forsythe customers with a heightened level of visibility and insight into their IT infrastructures, where virtually none existed before. This approach enables organizations to bring their data protection and business continuity initiatives to the next level.”
Hecht added, “Forsythe is one of the most well-known and respected IT consultants in the world. Their decision to incorporate RecoverGuard into their robust portfolio of offerings is an enviable ‘seal of approval’ of which we are quite proud.”
