POC Technical Expert

We are seeking a talented person to become a solution expert for performing POC (Proof-of-Concept) activities.

Description:

  • Leading POC activities from early stages to successful completion
  • Responsible for project planning and communication of technical requirements, AvailabilityGuard software installation and configuration, preparation of POC deliverables and presentation to IT management
  • Provide presales, product demo, training and technical assistance to distribution partners and sales teams
  • Offer in-depth technological understanding of the datacenter resiliency field
  • Close interaction and support for sales executives

Required:

  • Understanding of datacenter architecture, private cloud and/or IT management software solutions

Senior Sales Executive (New York)

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our New York office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, progress and close new business at assigned key accounts
  • Focus on winning new customers (hunting, not farming)
  • Full ownership of entire sales cycle: Initial call (including cold calls), onsite presentations & meetings, proof-of-concept, quotation & negotiation, closing
  • Work closely with pre-sales team and sales management to orchestrate and execute successful sales campaigns

Position Requirements

  • Must be a “hunter” (“farmers” need not apply)
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Software field sales experience

Sales Development Representative

We are seeking an energetic and talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Inside Sales team. The role is focused primarily on the US & Canada, with some work in select European regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on a targeted list of large and very large enterprises
  • Leveraging both inbound leads and outbound calling/research, identify and engage prospective customers — lots of sophisticated cold calling required

We are seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our Inside Sales team. The role is focused on the DACH Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on large enterprises within key industry verticals
  • Identify and grow new enterprise opportunities (sophisticated cold calling required)

Required:

We are seeking a talented Presales manager to join our OEM Sales team.

Description:

  • Manage Presale activities

Support Manager

We’re looking for a highly motivated, responsible, “get things done” Technical Support Professional who seeks the opportunity to lead and take Support function at Continuity Software to the next level. The position includes both support management and technical hands-on services.

Description:

  • Overall responsibility for support case management and for meeting SLAs.
  • Assist customers and partners worldwide with product-related questions and with solving technical issues over WebEx sessions and via e-mail / phone.
  • Communicate with account managers and Engineering staff as required to resolve cases.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving the support framework including process, templates, automation and measurements.
  • Generate support status, progress and metric-based reports.
  • Developing customer-facing documentation for our website on an as-needed basis.

Required:

  • At least 1-3 years previous experience in a technical support role for an enterprise IT / datacenter software solution.
  • Hands-on, excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid knowledge of protocols and interfaces such as SSH, WMI and HTTP, and ability to use diagnostic tools such as traceroute, ping, putty, WMI, CIM studio and sqlplus.
  • Strong command line Linux/Unix skills and experience with writing SQL queries.
  • The ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a customer problem or question and help them solve it.
  • Excellent writing skills + telephone mannerisms.
  • Flexible, ability to work off-hours on an as-needed basis / short notice.
  • Storage Management, in-depth Virtualization (VMware or other) or HA/DR knowledge – an advantage.
